Menthol induces the sensation of cooling by activating TRPM8 (transient receptor potential melastatin 8), an ion channel in cold-sensitive peripheral sensory neurons and exerts a local analgesic effect.
Shake the container well before use. Spray the contents from 5–8 cm distance on the affected areas three to four times a day.
